HOW DO I BOOK MAKE ME UP FOR MY EVENT?
First, please submit an inquiry. This can be done on our 'Home" page or by calling 770-375-7572. Once your inquiry has been approved for availability, paying the deposit will secure your date.
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT AND HOW DOES IT SECURE MY DATE?
Deposit amounts typically range from $250-$500+ depending on the event type and services needed. Once your deposit is received, your date will be secured with MAKE ME UP. The deposit will later be deducted from your service total when you make your final payment on/before your event date. In the event that you must cancel your services, a minimum of 60-days notice is required in order to avoid a cancellation penalty and receive a portion of your deposit.
CAN I SCHEDULE A TRIAL BEFORE PAYING A DEPOSIT?
Due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we do not schedule trials before a deposit has been paid to secure the wedding date. Once the deposit has been paid, the bride may schedule her trial as soon as she would like. In the event that the Bride chooses to cancel her wedding day services with Make Me Up after her trial, she would be refunded a portion of the deposit as long as she cancels 60-days before her wedding date.
DOES MAKE ME UP REQUIRE A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF PEOPLE OR SERVICES IN ORDER TO BE BOOKED?
We do not require a minimum number of people or services if we are traveling less than 50miles on the wedding day. For weddings 51+ miles, we require a minimum of 5 services in addition to the brides. There is a $25 fee for each service not met for the minimum. (example: if the bride is getting Hair + makeup and there are are only 3 services being provided for bridesmaids, there is a $75 NON-MINIMUM FEE)
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN MAKE ME UP ACCOMMODATE SERVICES FOR?
We can accommodate up to 16 people for Hair & Makeup services. For more than 16 services, please inquire about availability.
HOW EARLY OR LATE WILL MAKE ME UP START SERVICES?
We understand that you may need services done early to accommodate a morning wedding. We are more than happy to start services as early as possible, however if this requires starting earlier than 7:00am or starting after 5:00pm, there is a $25 convenience fee per stylist.
IS THERE A LATE FEE IF WE RUN BEHIND ON THE WEDDING DAY?
If on the Wedding Day you run late, you will be charged a late fee. We give a 15min grace period. However, for every 15min after the grace period you run late, we charge $10 every 15min. We will collect the late fee on the wedding day.
EXAMPLE: IF YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO START AT 10AM, BUT DON’T ARRIVE UNTIL 10:45AM, YOU WILL BE CHARGED $20).
WHAT HAPPENS IF i NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY WEDDING DAY?
In the event you need to reschedule your wedding (FOR ANY REASON), you will need to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE $100 RESCHEDULING FEE if we are notified on/after 90 days before the original wedding date. All services + payments made will be transferred to the new date, depending on availability. If Make Me Up is not available on the new date, then you would be refunded 50% of the deposit.
DOES MAKE ME UP TRAVEL OUT OF STATE OR COUNTRY?
Make Me Up is based in Powder Springs, Georgia. However, our team is more than happy to travel out of state or country for your special day/ occasion. Depending on the distance of your event location, the travel fee & travel arrangements will be determined.
IS GRATUITY INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Gratuity is not included in the pricing, but we can include upon reuqest. Gratuity is not required, but is very much appreciated if you are happy with the services received. A recommended gratuity amount is 15-20%.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES MAKE ME UP ACCEPT?
Make Me Up accepts Cash, Check, VENMO & Credit Cards. Credit Cards accepted: Visa, American Express, Discover, & Master Card- All Credit Cards Payments are subject to a 3.75% processing fee.
